How to Make Bed Slats Queen

Instructions:

1. Measure and mark the location of the slats on the side rails of your bed frame. The slats should be spaced evenly apart, with the first and last slats being placed 2 inches from the ends of the side rails.

2. Apply a thin bead of wood glue to the underside of each slat. Place the slats in the marked locations on the side rails and secure them with 1-1/4 inch wood screws. Use a countersink bit to countersink the screws slightly below the surface of the wood.
