Sand the bunk bed to smooth out any rough edges. You can then paint or stain the bunk bed to match your desired decor.

Tips for making a twin bunk bed

  • Use high-quality lumber for the frame and legs. This will ensure that the bunk bed is sturdy and durable.
  • Make sure that the joints are tight and secure. This will prevent the bunk bed from wobbling or collapsing.
  • Use a level to make sure that the bunk bed is level before you attach the platform.
  • If you are using a box spring, make sure that it is the same size as the mattress.
  • Add a ladder to the bunk bed so that your child can easily climb up to the top bunk.
