Instructions:

Build the end rails. Cut two (2x6) lumber to 76 inches long. These will be the end rails of your bed frame. Attach the end rails to the side rails, flush with the ends of the side rails. Use wood glue and 1 1/4 inch wood screws to secure the joints.
Reinforce the joints. Cut two (2x4) lumber to 6 feet long. These will be used to reinforce the joints of the bed frame. Place the (2x4) lumber inside the bed frame, against the joints of the side rails and end rails. Attach the (2x4) lumber to the bed frame using 2 1/2 inch wood screws.
Sand and finish. Sand the bed frame to remove any rough edges or splinters. You can then stain or paint the bed frame to match your desired décor. Allow the stain or paint to dry completely before using the bed frame.
